The son of the greatest martial artist of all time, Brandon Lee, just like his father, met an untimely death. In 1994, while filiming the movie The Crow, Lee was shot by a gun that was supposed to be a harmless prop. Instead, a bullet was lodged in the revolver. When the trigger was pulled - as written in the script - the reverberation of the blanks cause the bullet to propel, ultimatley shooting Lee in the abdomen. Despite a five hour attempt to save him, Lee was pronouced dead at the age of 28. The footage of his fictional-turned-real death scene was destroyed but the movie was eventually finished.

Some people suspect that Lee was a victim of foul play; the freak accident that claimed his life just seemed a little too far fetched. Others, however, believe that his death was part of the Bruce Lee curse. Bruce Lee also died young, suffering from brain swelling at the age of 32.

Natalie Wood

A child-turned-adult-actress, Natalie Wood was the face of a generation. Known for her roles in Rebel Without a Cause and West Side Story as well as her dating life - a life that saw her court the likes of Elvis, Raymond Burr, Warren Beauty, and Dennis Hopper - her death was also not void of drama. Even today, mysteries still remain.

In 1981, at the age of 45, Wood drowned while onboard a yacht with her husband, Robert Wagner, and Christopher Walken. No one knows for certain what happened and the reports varied. One theory suggests that Wagner and Walken got into a disagreement and, while they argued, Wood fell overboard. Though a witness on shore reported hearing Wood cry for help - as well as the two men reasurring her that they were coming - Wagner, Walken, and the man piloting the yacht all said they never heard anything.

Wood was legally drunk at the time and this likely compromised her ability to swim. Bruises were also found on her body, but these were ambigious, possibly being a result of her fall.

Rebecca Lucile Schaeffer

Only 21 years old when she was shot and killed n 1989, Rebecca Lucile Schaeffer had a career that was just getting started. Best known for her role in the sitcom My Sister Sam, Schaeffer was shot by Robert Bardo, a 19-year-old who was a crazed fan. After stalking her for three years, writing letters and attempting to gain access onto the set of My Sister Sam, Bardo hired a private investigator to find her place of residence. The PI was able to locate it through DMV records.

Bardo dressed up as a flower delivery man and approached Schaeffer's doorway. When she answered, he shot her once in the heart. He was arrested the next day.

The death of Schaeffer set the ball in motion for California's anti-stalking laws. It also helped change the law regarding the release of information through the DMV.

Robert Blake

From an Our Gang character to a Baretta icon to a murder suspect, Robert Blake is a man of many faces. In 2000, he married a woman named Bonnie Lee Bakley after tests proved that she was pregnant with his child. It was his second marriage and her - introducing the adage never a bridesmaid and always a bride - tenth.

In May of 2001, Bakely was murdered by gun shot in a car while waiting for Blake to return from the restaurant where they had just dined. Blake was eventually arrested for murder, not accused of actually pulling the trigger but of hiring the person who did. After going on trial, Blake was acquitted.

Like O.J. Simson, an acquittal in the criminal trial did not hold up in the civil suit. In late November of 2005, a jury agreed with the wrongful death suit filed against Blake. He was ordered to pay 30 million dollars. A few months later, Blake found himself filing for bankruptcy.

O.J. Simpson

O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the 1994 deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and a friend of hers, Ronald Goldman. For this reason, I can't say that O.J. is a murderer, but allow me to call this portion of my article: If He Did It.

Prior to becoming a murder suspect, O.J. was loved as a Hall of Fame running back, a Hertz spokesman, an actor, and a man with a million dollar smile. That all fell apart when he became the prime suspect in a brutal murder: it was a suspicion that led the police on the world's slowest high speed chase down a California highway.

Some people believe he was acquitted because of his celebrity status, while others believe it was because of mistakes the prosecution made during the trial. Whatever the reasons for his acquittal during the criminal trial, they didn't stick in the civil trial. On February 5, 1997, O.J. was found guilty in a wrongful death suit and ordered to pay over 33 million dollars in damages. With pensions protected from seizure, he is rumored to still be able to live his acquired lifestyle leaving those who believe he is guilty angry and under the impression that the justice system is an oxymoron. John Lennon Dead

We know John Lennon for many things: He was the founding member of the Beatles, the English rock band that swept the world throughout the 60s. He was a peace activist whose words of wisdom became a voice of sanity during the darkest days of the Vietnam War. His signature songs "Imagine" and "Give Peace a Chance" became the anthem of the anti-war movement.

In the end, however, his fame killed him. On December 8, 1980, John Lennon was assassinated, shot four times in the back by a man named Mark David Chapman, who later said he did it because Lennon was famous and killing him would create for the killer "instant notoriety, fame."

Lennon died in the arms of his wife, Yoko Ono.

Revered in death as he was in life, Lennon was declared by the Rolling Stones magazine to be the 5th greatest singer of all time. A BBC survey also named him the 8th Greatest Briton that ever lived.

Lennon was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

Michael Jackson Dead

The King of Pop is one of the most controversial figures to grace the music scene.

His career began early, as the lead singer of the family singing group called the Jackson 5. His songs "Big Boy" and "I'll Be There" became instant chart toppers.

His musical genius was immediately noted by record executives, and in 1979 his first solo album Off the Wall hit the record stores.

From there, Jackson's career took off. His album Thriller produced hits such as "Billie Jean," and "Beat It." It remains the best-selling album of all time with an estimated 110 million copies sold worldwide. This was followed by tracks such as "Heal the World," "Black or White," from his album Dangerous.

However, after 1991, Jackson retreated from the spotlight. His album Invincible received a cold reception. His downward spiral continued with child abuse cases, a divorce with his first wife Lisa Marie Presley, and rumors of bankruptcy.

In March 2009, Jackson announced a series of concerts that he said it would be his last.

He never made it to that last concert series. A few weeks before the first show, he suffered cardiac arrest and was found dead in his bed at his rented mansion in Los Angeles. The cause of his death was said to be drug overdose.

His passing didn't stop Michael Jackson from doing that final performance, however. His posthumous documentary "This is It," which contains footage of his rehearsals, grossed $260 million worldwide.

The King of Pop died at the age of 50.

Kurt Cobain Dead

Kurt Cobain was a musician, songwriter and artist. His claim to fame was being the vocalist of the band Nirvana.

Cobain was known for writing songs about gender equality and the end of racism and homophobia. While his chosen genre is alternative music, his message touches all.

His songs "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are" are still being played on the radio to this day. Kurt Cobain is listed as the 12th greatest guitarist of all time by the Rolling Stones Magazine.

Like many other brilliant musicians, Cobain was persecuted throughout his career. His vocal support for black people and homosexuals made him the target of white conservatives.

It didn't help that he was fighting a losing war with drugs and depression.

Cobain was suicidal. He checked in and out of rehab during the last days of his life, but in the end, death won over. He was found lifeless at his Washington Lake Home with a bullet in his head. He died at the age of 27.

Amy Winehouse Death

Amy Winehouse was an English singer and songwriter whose songs "Rehab" and "Back to Black" won her five Grammy awards. Known for her deep contralto voice, she performed jazz and soul music with impeccable mastery.

Throughout her short life, she battled with drugs and alcohol - and it was a battle thoroughly covered by the press. Her last concert in Serbia was a disaster after Winehouse showed up drunk on stage. Her tour was then unfortunately cancelled after her performance.

She was tragically found dead in her London apartment on July 23, 2011. Police have not yet verified the cause of her death. She was 27 years old.

Princess Diana Death

The injury that killed Princess Diana although critical was not fatal and in fact former President Ronald Reagan survived a similar injury when he was shot by John Hinckley in 1981! Surely if a 70 year old man could have survived such an injury why not a 36 year old woman in good health?

The French doctors who were part of the team that tried to resuscitate Princess Diana at the hospital following the crash cited a tear in the left pulmonary vein as the source of internal bleeding that ultimately led to her death...there was no mention of other specific lesions!

Their conclusion was in stark contrast to the remarks made by the French Minister of Health and other officials (and widely embraced by the public, the media, and disseminated by the official report) that Princess Diana died as a result of massive multiple internal injuries that left her no chance to survive!

If Princess Diana Had Been Taken To A Hospital Within An Hour After Crash She'd Probably Be Alive Today!

The simple truth is, it is very highly likely that if Princess Diana had been rushed to a hospital immediately instead of being snail-paced for two hours in an ambulance she would still be alive today! Several eminent doctors from around the globe (including French physicians) agreed that a timely evacuation to the hospital would have probably saved the Princess!

This tends to corroborate my theory postulating the real reason why the ambulance journey took so long; the plotters were waiting for Princess Diana to bleed out before presenting her to other personnel not privy or involved in the plot (waiting hospital staff).

Nobody really knows what went on in that ambulance and who was in it besides Princess Diana. Another questionable aspect concerning the 2-hour journey fiasco that has come to light is whatever happened to the police presence that was initially escorting the ambulance?

Princess Diana's Condition When The First Emergency Vehicles Arrived

The first witnesses to the crash site discovered Princess Diana seated on the floor of the car with her legs on the backseat and her head sandwiched between the backs of the two front seats. Her eyes were open and she was speaking indistinctly (bodyguard Trevor Rhys Jones supposedly heard her call out Dodi Fayed's name) which established Diana as being conscious at this point.

The first emergency vehicle arrived seven minutes after the crash (Sapeurs-Pompiers, a military emergency service) and the SAMU ambulance that took her to the hospital arrived eight minutes later. The physician from the SAMU ambulance said that Princess Diana was agitated and crying and repeatedly moving her left arm and right leg (once again establishing that Princess Diana was indeed still conscious at this point).

Apparently Princess Diana then went into cardiac arrest while being extracted form the wreckage so she was intubated, put on a respirator and given external chest massage to reestablish a heart rhythm.

Review Of The Injury That Killed Princess Diana

The crash caused Princess Diana's pulmonary vein to tear; this type of injury is commonly categorized as a deceleration injury because as the name implies it occurs when a person in motion is subjected to the massive traumatic force caused by sudden excessive deceleration. The Mercedes Benz S280 ramming into the pillar at 60 miles an hour definitely fits into this category.

The pulmonary vein transports oxygen-rich blood from the lungs to the heart where it is then pumped to the rest of the body. The pulmonary vein is a large vessel that transports a significant amount of blood. A rip or injury to this vessel will result in internal bleeding in the chest that can quite easily become rapidly fatal; however if the tear is minimal then there's a good chance that bleeding would be minimal and that expeditious repair of the tear would save the patient.

The fact that Princess Diana arrived at the hospital almost 2 hours later alive is evidence that the tear to her pulmonary vessel must have been a small tear that exuded blood at a slow rate. (Now you can see why it was so important for the ambulance to take its time getting to the hospital. If the tear had been bigger chances are they'd have gotten Diana to the hospital that much sooner. The outcome would have been the same though, because the assassins would have still ensured that by the time she was handed over to the Trauma Staff at the hospital she'd have been beyond resuscitation...which also explains the final 10 minute stop just outside the hospital gates).

As pre-eminent cardiologist Dr. John Ochsner (Chairman Emeritus of surgery at the Alton Ochsner clinic in New Orleans) put it: "depending on the size of the rent, or tear. If it wasn't too big, they could put the patient on a heart lung machine and just go in and do the repair electively. It's pretty obvious: with that lesion, if you can get them in hospital and on a heart lung machine early enough you can save them. But time is of essence."

He is just one of a very long list of several physicians who believe that expeditious transport of Princess Diana to a hospital operating room could well have saved her! Read the views of other physicians here.

It is tempting to conclude that the French emergency evacuation procedures are ironically to blame for Princess Diana's untimely death thereby relegating the entire incident as a mishandled tragic accident. But when one also considers the superb "bungling" of the investigation, disappearance of witnesses, the climbing body count, plethora of lies circulated and other suspicious events, that 2 hour hospital ride is really just a tad too convenient to have been anything but part of the assassination plot!
